Matt is a Vice President at Auspex Capital, responsible for working directly with the Managing Directors in assisting with the execution of senior debt placement, M&A advisory, bank compliance, subordinate/mezzanine debt, bridge loans, sale lease backs, strategic advisory and valuation. This includes creating and preparing financial analysis, market research, due diligence, return analysis and tax calculations.

Prior to joining Auspex, Matt was a Senior Investment Accountant for Karlin Asset Management and Karlin Real Estate. At Karlin, he was responsible for the real estate investments but also worked closely with securities, hedge funds, private equities, and other investment vehicles. Previously, Matt worked as a Revenue Accountant at Disney and in the Private Wealth Group at Merrill Lynch.

Matt graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Finance. In his free time, Matt can be found watching NBA basketball (Clippers), going to the beach, traveling and spending time with his family and dog, Bowser.
